Initial sketch of the bronze bust developed by LorenzoE. Ghiglieri, 2003, for the Tribute to Wilbur E. Ternyik. Supporters of the project contributing $250 or more will have their name embedded on the base as a tribute from the people of Oregon.

The statue will denote Wilbur's tomahawk and Indian jacket. Conducting meetings for over 30 years, Wilbur noted that the tomahawk contains a hatchet for divisiveness and a peace pipe for compromise, encouraging all to work cooperatively together for a future goal.
